Gregory A. Sand, Ph.D.

Dr. Gregory A. Sand was an international consultant with extensive consumer goods experience. He built a reputation as being an innovative, dynamic international authority in the area of operational marketing and “action training.” Dr. Sand’s expertise was sought world-wide for over thirty years by companies like Red Bull, Unilever, Carlsberg, Heineken, Guinness, Coca‑Cola world-wide, and regional breweries.

Greg served on the faculties of the Management Institute of New York University, the School of Business of Hofstra University, and the Business School of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He was a guest speaker for organizations and conferences that included InterBev, The Marketing Society of Ireland, and American Society for Training and Development.

Greg was a guest lecturer at Cornell University’s School of Industrial Labor Relations in the USA; Department of International Graduate Education of Ecole Superieure Libre des Sciences Commerciales Appliquees in Paris, France; University of the Azores, Portugal; University College Galway and University College Dublin in Ireland; and Association Internactionale de Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (AIESEC), the association that facilitates the international exchange of thousands of university students annually.

He also invented GLOBALSCORE©, the highly successful international merchandising audit system. An overview of GLOBALSCORE© appeared in an article published in Beverage World International. The International Journal of Educational Reform published Greg’s article on “Intercultural Action Learning within a Business Context”.

Greg earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Adelphi University, Master of Arts degree from St. John’s University, and a Ph.D. from The University of Iowa.

Gregory died of liver cancer with beloved family at home.
